Don't look up!
5 Mar 2022 10:49Within the recent history, Munich did not occur yesterday. Munich, as it is now clear, occurred back in 2014. It occurred when Russia, which had risen from its knees, took part of the territory of Ukraine using just a slight movement of its forty thousand military grouping, while our allies urged us not to shoot. The world community was deeply concerned, very much to the depths of its soul, but it did not move even a little finger to force Russia to return the stolen Ukrainian lands.
Oh, - said Russia, powdering its impudent theft with a referendum, - was that possible? So be it!
And then Donbass occurred - a classic hybrid invasion with the use of pro-Russian collaborators, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, Russian proxies, Russian funds, Russian weapons and a powerful massive Russian propaganda.
And again - the collective West thoughtfully scratched its head. No sanctions, no isolation, no condemnation. Complete impunity.
The Budapest Memorandum turned into toilet paper and everyone just swallowed it.
Security warrants? What are you talking about? Oh yes, we are all terribly concerned! We deeply feel for you! But we can't do anything!
That is when Munich happened, and not on 02/24/2022. On February 24, the world changed forever, the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine began - the first phase of the third world war.
It's simple: evil is born, it is being fed with impunity under the sauce of concern, it keeps growing, and then all the fun begins.
Empires do not disappear on their own. They can go into hibernation if they are weakened, but sooner or later they wake up and, having strengthened, and begin to absorb everything around.
If the West had carried out a complete de-imperialization of Russia since 1991, today's events would have been impossible. Russia could have been integrated into the world community in one way only - by pulling out poisonous atomic teeth. But it had not been done. I don't know why. Yet Ukraine had successfully been disarmed. We had been persuaded by invalid warrants, followed by cutting our military equipment into ribbons, leaving Ukraine next to the gaining its strength monster. Someone was probably interested to see what happens. Kind of a full-scale experiment: will it be capable of swallowing?
When the empire calls you brother, you should check the ammunition and take care of the arsenal very carefully. Sooner or later the "brother" will come. Just like the “brother” has just come to Kharkiv: with cruise missiles and using tanks, armored personnel carriers
and Hurricane strikes on residential areas, while calling us Nazis, fascists or Bandera - whatever necessary to force brotherhood.
Europe and the US do not want to look up. The problem which they don't wish to see is a a non-existing problem for them. But, the fact is that the problem does not get resolved in such a way. Quite the opposite - it turns into a humongous abscess, threatening the blind ones with gangrene, sepsis and death.
The careless Europeans and Americans turned out to have too short a memory. They forgot how Russia, having not yet chewed up Bush’s humanitarian "Chiken legs", fought against the "Moldovan fascists", torn Georgia to pieces, wiped the rebellious Grozny off the Earth’s face.
And then there was 2014, when Russian regular troops invaded parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, killing Ukrainian soldiers in Debaltseve and Ilovaisk, shooting Ukrainian troops from MLRS from the territory of the Russian Federation. They had also shot down passenger planes, if someone has forgotten about the fate of the flight MH-17!
Today Ukraine is under attack again.
It is no longer a partial aggression, but the full-scale war over the whole country: from its eastern to western borders. Missiles, cluster munitions, vacuum bombs - all these are being used by the aggressor on civilian infrastructure, non-combatants, schools and residential buildings.
And the collective West still does not want to look up. "NATO is not a party to the conflict" says Stoltenberg.
Let me tell you a secret: Ukraine is also not a party to the conflict. But a victim of the Russian aggression.
Undoubtedly, we receive significant military and financial assistance from Europe and the United States. We have convincing moral support - and that's great. Everything that is being done is done very quickly, in a timely manner and done well, but ... this is not enough.
We are dealing with a cruel, insane and completely immoral enemy whose treaties are not worth the paper they are written on. He's not going to stop. All statements and resolutions of the UN, all ultimatums of the world community are completely useless. The UN is an organization for decent people, but it is a completely toothless and amorphous structure for resolving conflicts in a hot phase. Therefore, we have no one to rely on, but ourselves.
Ukraine is fighting like Israel in the Yom Kippur War - fiercely and desperately fighting for every square meter of its territory. Every fighter understands that we are talking about the very existence of the state, about its independence, about the subjectivity of Ukraine in the future. In a war unleashed by a mentally ill dictator with a peaceful European country, our defeat, like our victory - are not only our defeat or our victory.
This is all about the victory of the democratic future of mankind over the imperial dictatorship of the past. It is this choice that Europe and the United States are now facing, and not the choice to enter or not to enter a conflict on the side of Ukraine.
Closing our sky now means closing your own sky in the near future. Because Ukraine is an outpost separating the “Putin-style Russian world” from the civilized world. And if Ukraine falls, then the horror that you now see on television will take place in front of your windows.
Who will be the next object for coercion to peace, friendship, love? Where exactly will the notorious red lines be? Poland? Baltic countries? Or Finland and Sweden? I don't know. The answer is only up to Putin and his inflamed imagination.
NATO is scared. NATO is afraid of a madman with a nuclear button, we understand. But Europe and the United States just don’t understand that if they do not come to this war, the war will still come to them. In time. Probably very soon. And that’s when they will realize how many chances they missed to stop the crazy dictator. But it will be too late. And a deep concern won’t help anyone! It seems to me that of all the European partners of Ukraine, only Poland understands where the situation is heading and does not want a repeat of 1939. The rest of Europe remains careless. Like Chamberlain, it hopes to pacify the beast that had tasted blood, forgetting about the sad historical experience.
Well, it is your right not to look up yet, dear allies! There is nothing nice up there! There are Russian planes up there in the sky, and they are not bombing you yet. They are bombing our country, killing fellow citizens, wives and children of Ukraine only.
But that's just for now.
